On June 6th more than 45 year after its conception it was a privilege to witness this one-off Aston Martin prototype exceed the 200mph barrier at Machrihanish airfield the former NATO airbase near Campbeltown, Scotland.

The Bulldog finally smashed its personal best. Driven by works driver Darren Turner – who’s no stranger to these kinds of speeds as a three-time class winner at Le Mans – the attempt was made possible after an 18-month project to restore the 70’s trailblazer.

Our Client, Classic Motor Cars of Bridgnorth spent more than 7,000 hours of restoration work and hundreds more of testing to bring the Bulldog back to its best.
